The Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery, designed by Philip C. Johnson, is located on campus, and is responsible for the large amount of sculpture seen throughout the grounds. The Sheldon's collection focuses on American art. There will be a special open house for conference participants on Thursday evening.

The sculpture garden starts to the South of the Sheldon and curves into the arts corner of campus. Also on Thursday, a picnic for students will be held in this area (see below). This grassy knoll is the site of "Jazz in June" and "Movies on the Green" during the summer months, and is located just to the South-East of the Physics building.
